(“Vee-own-yay”) Fresh and aromatic, this lovely white wine is your go-to for both summertime sipping or as a welcome wine for a holiday or Friendsgiving gathering.  The light straw color gives way to a delicately perfumed aroma of white peach and floral.  The weighty palate is bright with hints of kiwi and lemon. You’ll want to keep a bottle in the fridge to pop open after a long day on zoom or to serve as a welcome wine for your next gathering. 2023 Chardonnay, El Dorado

100% Chardonnay from the El Dorado Appellation

The aroma of this lovely wine makes your mouth water. Its opulent pale-yellow color invites you to inhale deeply whiffs of lemon verbena and hint of marigold.  This party wine is a crowd pleaser – not oaky, not buttery, but rather bright and fresh on your palate with and slightly “crunchy” nectarine finish. Put on some cool jazz and pour yourself a glass. Pair with grilled polenta topped with a fennel, artichoke and olive agrodolce (sweet and savory), fromage blanc cheese with herbes de Provence and seed crackers, Pan-roasted Scallops with Tarragon-Butter Wine Sauce.
